As part of the 125th Celebration of Tucker, Georgia the Tucker Historical Society and the Friends of Tucker Parks have collaborated with the US Postal Service to create a one-day-only anniversary pictorial postmark honoring Tucker’s history.
The U.S. Postal Service will be on site at the Tucker Recreation Center on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 9AM to 2PM. Tucker-themed postcards will be available to purchase at the event or people can bring their own items to mail. To make the event even more special, the postmaster will be using the desk that belonged to Alf Chewning, Tucker’s first postmaster.
Please spread the word to friends and family with a Tucker connection and to all your stamp and postmark collecting associates
